Bill Seawright
Managing Director
Bill has played a major role in the overall direction of IBS since its inception in 1979 and oversees all aspects of the business. A fitter and turner by trade, Bill has a wealth of experience in drafting and product development, specialising in creating innovative design solutions to meet clients’ needs. Bill is responsible for the overall operation of the company and assists with problem solving.
Michael Kneubuhler
Retail Sales Manager
Michael has exceptional retail product knowledge and has been assisting customers in finding the right products to suit their needs since 1994. He has become highly skilled at sourcing the “unprocurable” part or item. Michael has a very strong customer focus and a thorough understanding of in-house and external customer needs.
Adam Seawright
Design and Project Engineer
Adam is a qualified engineer and the newest member of the management team. After graduating with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from James Cook University, Adam took on the responsibility for the theory and calculations behind IBS’s engineering designs. Adam works closely with Bill and oversees projects undertaken by the engineering divisions of IBS.
Alex Seawright
Workshop Supervisor
Alex is a qualified machinist/fitter and provides excellent client support, particularly in breakdown situations. Having been with IBS for more than 20 years, Alex is responsible for customers’ needs and requirements. Alex trains apprentices in the machining side of the business.
