IBS Managers – Now with Qualifications!

For the last year, our Retail Manager Michael Kneubuhler and our Financial Controller Darryl Anderson, have been undertaking a Diploma of Management which both successfully completed in June.

For one day a month for eight months, Darryl and Michael headed to Cairns for lessons and then spent the remainder of the month completing their homework.

Conducted through Upskilled Training, the course has given them a number of new skills while reinforcing existing ones.

In addition to Darryl and Michael, our Retail Salesperson Glenn Charge and our Workshop Coordinator Robert Petersen have are also undertaking the same course.  Glenn is set to finish his course in the next few weeks and Robbie set to follow soon after.

We’re not stopping at our Managers though as our Apprentice’s are also set to begin their TAFE blocks in the next few weeks.

IBS are in full support of our staff undertaking these courses as we knew that their increased skills would benefit not just themselves and the company, but our customers as well.
